which is far from true. He had a lot to say, but didn't like life in the public eye. George was often overshadowed by the
talents of Lennon/McCartney, but proved himself by being the first Beatle to have a number one album after the break-up.
George was deeply spiritual, and this shows in his music (The Inner Light, My Sweet Lord). Besides music, George was also
a film producer, owner of Handmade Films. He was a patron of Monty Python, being good friends with Eric Idle. Tragically,
George died of cancer on November 29, 2001.
